Which Raclette Grills would you recommend as best?

Posting date: 17th March 2010 21:35

We sell 3 kinds of Raclette Grills,: the Black Rock Home Grill, the Kuchenprofi Grande Raclette and the Kuchenprofi Hot Stone Raclette.

There is not question that I would recommend the Kuchenprofi Raclettes as the best. They are more expensive, but they are well made from good quality materials. I can safely say that I have no faults reported or returns for quality reasons since I started selling them in 2006. Not bad!

The Kuchenprofi Hot Stone Raclette is the more popular. This is the more traditional style of Raclette really, which bakes rather than grills the food, and no additional fat is required, as compared to the Grande.

Whilst the Black Rock Home Grill is about £20 cheaper, I have had a few problems with the stones cracking along natural faults. These have always been replaced by the manufacturer, but nevertheless personally I think it is worth paying the extra £20 for a quality of stone with fewer fissures!
